What is the meaning of Alhamdulillah?

“Alhamdulillah” means “All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds.” It is the second verse of the Qur'an and the word a Muslim returns to in gratitude, in relief, and even in hardship — a way of handing every good thing back to its source.

“[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds.”— 1:2 (Saheeh International)

Ask Noor can explain when to say Alhamdulillah and how gratitude increases what you're given.
