Noor is operated by Thirty3 Investments LLC ("we", "us"). Last updated: July 2026.
Noor is a personal Islamic companion app. We care deeply about your privacy and collect as little as possible. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
Location. With your permission, we use your device location to calculate accurate prayer times and the qibla direction. Your location is used on your device and to request prayer-time data; we do not store your precise location on our servers or sell it.
An anonymous device identifier. When you use Ask Noor, we send a randomly generated identifier so we can apply daily usage limits. It is not linked to your name or Apple ID.
Your questions to Ask Noor. The text you send to Ask Noor is processed to generate a grounded, cited answer. We do not use it to identify you.
Purchases. Subscriptions are processed by Apple. Our subscriptions provider (RevenueCat) receives purchase and subscription-status information to manage your access. We never receive your card details.
Advertising. Free users may see ads served by Google AdMob. With your consent (via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt), an advertising identifier may be used to show more relevant ads. You can decline, and you will still be able to use the app.
On-device data. Your prayer tracking, streaks, dhikr counts, memorization progress, notes, and preferences are stored on your device.
To provide prayer times, the qibla, the Qur'an, Ask Noor, and other features; to apply usage limits; to process subscriptions; to show ads to free users; and to keep the app working and secure.
We rely on trusted providers to run Noor: Apple (app distribution and payments), Google AdMob (advertising), RevenueCat (subscription management), Cloudflare and Anthropic (the Ask Noor service), and public Islamic data sources for prayer times and the Qur'an. Each processes data under its own privacy policy.
Noor is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
You can turn off location and notifications in your device settings, decline ad tracking, and manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account. To request deletion of any data associated with your device identifier, contact us below.
We keep data only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, and we use reasonable measures to protect it.
