What is the dua for anxiety and stress in Islam?

The Prophet (peace be upon him) taught a specific dua for anxiety and grief: “Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-hammi wal-hazan” — “O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and grief.” Alongside it, the Qur'an points to the deeper cure: a heart that turns back to Allah.

Allazeena aamanoo wa tatma'innu quloobuhum bizikril laah; alaa bizikril laahi tatma'innul quloob
“Those who have believed and whose hearts are assured by the remembrance of Allah. Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured."”
Qur'an 13:28 · Surah Ar-Ra'd (Saheeh International)
