What is Surah Al-Kahf about?

Surah Al-Kahf tells four stories — the sleepers of the cave, the two gardens, Musa and Khidr, and Dhul-Qarnayn — each turning on the same truth: wealth and children are passing adornment, and only the enduring good deeds remain. Muslims recite it every Friday.

“Wealth and children are [but] adornment of the worldly life. But the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for [one's] hope.”— 18:46 (Saheeh International)
