Abraham (peace be upon him) stood alone against his people's idols and was cast into a fire — which Allah made cool and safe upon him. He is remembered too for raising the foundations of the Sacred House with his son Ishmael, praying that Allah accept it.
“We [i.e., Allah] said, "O fire, be coolness and safety upon Abraham."”— 21:69 (Saheeh International)
“And [mention] when Abraham was raising the foundations of the House and [with him] Ishmael, [saying], "Our Lord, accept [this] from us. Indeed You are the Hearing, the Knowing."”— 2:127 (Saheeh International)
