Tap Find my Qibla, allow location, and on a phone allow motion access — then simply turn until you face the golden needle.
The Qibla is the direction Muslims face during prayer (salah): toward the Kaaba in the Sacred Mosque (Masjid al-Haram) in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
When you allow location access, the tool calculates the great-circle bearing from your position to the Kaaba (21.4225°N, 39.8262°E). On a phone, allow motion/compass access and the needle points to the Qibla as you turn.
Face the direction the golden needle points, or turn until your heading matches the Qibla bearing shown in degrees. For example, from North America the Qibla is generally toward the north-east.
It gives a reliable bearing, but a phone’s magnetic compass can be affected by nearby metal or magnets. For the most accurate, calibrated Qibla — and prayer times and athan — use the Noor app.
